Our Workshop brings to young music students the knowledge and experience of musicians working in the field.
 

Not only as performers but in other musical capacities i.e. writing, arranging, recording, transcribing.
 

We have been fortunate in our lifetimes to have performed with certain players relevant to the cutting edge of Jazz and are constantly involved in the process of relating our knowledge to young musicians.
 

Students will have an opportunity to play with working Jazz musicians or to have one or more of the SFMJQ players play with their ensemble.
